Junior Exams - Tuesday 31 October - Friday 3 November

Junior Exams are running each day from Tuesday 31 October - Friday 3 November.  Exams will run from 9.00am - 11.00am and 11.40am - 1.40pm.  If students are not in an exam they will be in their normal timetabled class.

What you need to bring to your exam:

Clear Plastic Bag containing equipment required for the exam (2 x Pens, Pencil, Ruler, Calculator etc**) (All other gear should be in your school bag which will be left at the front of the hall / classroom)

** Students can purchase an "Exam Bag" containing 2 x Pens, Pencil, Ruler for $2 from the resource room.  

 

Examination Rules / Procedures: 

The following are the Exam Rules for Students at Onehunga High School.  OHS will investigate any reported possible breach of the rules.  A Student could not be awarded a grade if a rule is broken.

 

RULES FOR STUDENTS

  • Follow all instructions of any supervisor
  • All work you hand in for marking must be your own
  • You may only have an approved calculator in the exam room
  • You are not allowed to an electronic device (ie cellphone)  unless it is switched off and inside your clear plastic bag / pencil case.
  • Once you enter the room the only person you can communicate with is the supervisor.  To talk with the supervisor you need to put up your hand and wait for the supervisor to come over to you before speaking.
  • Bags must be left at the front of the room

 

In an exam you are not allowed to:

  • Talk to, communicate with or disturb other students (this includes sharing equipment)
  • Copy other students’ work
  • Touch or open your bag without the permission of a supervisor

 

You must only write your exam answers within the OHS answer booklets or the extra paper given to you by a supervisor.
