Dear Parents / Guardians,

Ao’auli Fiafia Day / Polyfest Dress Rehearsal

On Monday 11 March Onehunga High School will be hosting a Polyfest Dress Rehearsal on our school fields from 11:30am – 1:45pm. This is an opportunity for our students to showcase their cultural performances before the school and community, and we welcome you to attend this event. This will be the last opportunity before Polyfest for many of our groups to perform their Polyfest routines, and it is also a chance for the school as a whole to see the achievements of the students, whanau, staff and members of our wider community who will be involved in Polyfest this year.

In the event of rain, we need to make a decision by 10am Monday as to whether we will go ahead or cancel the dress rehearsal. If you are unsure if the event is on or not please contact the school’s main office on 636-6006 or check our website

Visitors to the school are asked to park on Pleasant Street and enter the school through our lower gate behind the Marae. We are able to provide limited seating for families and supporters overlooking the stage.

Staff Only Day

Friday 15 March is the first of our Staff Only Days for 2019.  Apart from students performing in Polyfest, all other students are in the care of parents on this day. Please note that the other Staff Only Days are the first days of Term Two (Monday 29 April) and Term Three (Monday 22 July).
