Tenā Koutou Katoa
We have come to the end of Term 3 and what a difficult term it has been for everyone. We would like to especially acknowledge the members of our school whanau who have been most affected by COVID and the families who have been supporting others in their community. Ngā mihi.
Students and their families and teachers have been working extremely hard to ensure learning has continued through this difficult time. We are very fortunate to be in a school so well prepared for the possibility of a lockdown. For many students learning has been largely uninterrupted. After a slower start for some, we have seen excellent participation rates, it seems some students are even happy to have their school work to do when they are separated from friends and their usual activities.
For those students who have not been in a position to complete work, do not give up! There is still time and your teachers have plans in place to support you next term. We’ve got this team!
Well done to those of you who have been taking part in College Sport competitions. There are many of us who have been exercising more than usual which is fortunate, if like me, you have been visiting the pantry more often.
Have a relaxing break, we are proud of your resilience and are looking forward to welcoming you back to school as soon as possible.
