Students hit the red carpet for the 9th annual OHScars award evening last week. Photos were taken and the year's creative achievements across the Media Department celebrated. Dozens of projects were nominated from the Level 1 music videos and Level 2/3 horror trailers produced this year.
There was much excitement and anticipation among the nominees and some very entertaining acceptance speeches! This thoroughly enjoyable evening was a fitting finale to a very productive year for our young film makers.
Awards were given out for cinematography, editing, sound design, along with several acting categories. It was a great evening, topped off by Year 13 students Oliver Meade and Avinesh Singh winning the prestigious ‘People’s Choice’ Award for being the fan-favourite film on the night.
