We are delighted to congratulate former pupil Cedric Folaumoetui who has been named New Zealand’s Top Apprentice, at the NZ Certified Builders Association Apprentice Challenge.
Before getting to the finals, which were held recently in Christchurch, Cedric had to compete in the regional competition, where competitors from all over the Auckland region were assigned challenging projects, for specific end users, which had to be completed within a time frame. Cedric having won this challenge, faced stiff competition from all over the country at the finals. Apprentices were judged on the quality of their work, their dedication to their apprenticeship and a presentation to over 700 builders attending the conference.
Cedric is the first ever Pasifika winner of this coveted title. Cedic went to University from school but his passion was always for construction and eventually he decided to follow his passion, which was clearly a very good choice! Congratulations Cedric.
