Cricket is back being played at Onehunga High School following the installation of an all-weather pitch on the bottom sports fields. We are very grateful to the North and South Trust who funded the purchase of a moveable cricket cage to ensure that students can practice safely. It has already been put to very good use. Our boys’ team have started the season off in impressive fashion with two wins and two losses from their four T-20 games played. All matches were against opposition teams from Auckland Grammar School. Strong performances with the bat and ball from Kobe and Luke Grant, as well as impressive bowling from Sam Davy and MJ Williams have been the highlights so far. A thanks to parents Joe Davy and Angela George for their support as well as teacher Chris McGarvey for his expertise.
