Congratulations Ben Webb on your selection into the New Zealand Men’s U19 Volleyball team!

This is an outstanding achievement. Ben will compete in the Australian Junior Volleyball Champs in Sydney and Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra from July 4th-15th.

Ben, who plays in the OHS Premier team and in the Manukau South club team has worked hard for this opportunity. Ben trains 3 or 4 times a week and has his own strength and fitness programme. This is the next step on his journey to realise his dream of playing for an American University. Ben is focussed on finding the best University in the USA which offers a quality education and volleyball scholarships. Ben would like to study Sports Science or a similar degree, so that he has the option to contribute to the sport after he finishes playing. Being selected in the New Zealand team will certainly help him to realise these goals.

We are excited for Ben to have the opportunity to represent New Zealand and compete internationally and are sure that he will indeed achieve his dream of playing and studying in the US.
