On Monday evening invited guests gathered in the staffroom to enjoy drinks and nibbles prepared by the outstanding students in the Food and Hospitality department.

This was an opportunity for us to thank some of the people who so generously support our school. What a treat it was to be presented with dish after dish of deliciousness, which was as much as a treat for the eyes, as it was in the mouth! Students had once again exceeded our, by now very high expectations, with food that the best of restaurants would be proud to serve. Beef Cheek Tacos; Earth, Sea and Fire, a selection of 3 flaky pastries, filled with pumpkin, feta and roasted broccoli; prawn, lime and avocado; spicy pork and chive and mini chicken burgers are just some of the first course dishes which were followed by sublime dessert bites. The mini banoffee pie served in a shot glass was wonderful, the salted caramel, chocolate mousse entremet, simply outstanding!

Congratulations to the students who prepared and served the food and mocktails. You can be very proud of yourselves.
