Careers Seminar Inspires

On Wednesday, 24 Year 13 students who intend studying at a university next year attended a Student360 seminar presented by Ariana Rudsen and Emma Loubser from ICE.

The ICE group is passionate about creating bright futures for young professionals. They understand for many students leaving high school, it is a time of confusion, indecision and for some fear. They are committed to giving young people the knowledge, support and opportunity, to help them navigate their next steps. Students in their programme are offered support and mentoring to help them make decisions on their future pathways and importantly they organise paid internships for students considering careers in IT, business, law, advertising or non clinical health. This allows students to experience what careers in these areas actually look like, enabling them to make considered career and study decisions.

Thank you to our careers advisor Kristin Shaw for her organisation of this wonderful opportunity and to Ariana and Emma from ICE.
