Uniform

All students are required to wear correct Onehunga High School Uniform during the school day.

  • All uniform items must be clearly labelled with the student’s name.
  • Any non-uniform garments worn beneath the school uniform must NOT be visible at the neck, sleeves, waist, or beneath shorts or skirts.
  • The uniform supplier is School Uniform Centre, 169 Manukau Rd, Epsom or online at www.schooluniformcentre.co.nz. The School Uniform Centre also operate a smaller uniform shop at school (upstairs via Reception).

 

Blazer

Scarf

Onehunga High School regulation broad red and green stripes

Jacket 

Onehunga High School jacket with crest

Jewellery

A watch, one small plain sleeper or stud per ear, no other jewellery

Jersey

Onehunga High School regulation bottle green, V neck, wool jersey with school crest

Physical Education Uniform

Green shirt with Onehunga High School crest and Onehunga High School black shorts

Footwear

Plain low cut black leather shoes (that do not cover the ankle) or black sandals.  No coloured logos on shoes or sandals.

Hat

Green or black school hat

 


No cosmetics to be worn. Students must be clean shaven.
The school will not be responsible for any non-uniform items which are confiscated.

UNIFORM – YEARS 9, 10 and 11

Shirt

Onehunga High School grey shirt or short sleeved white shirt with bottle green trim

Trousers 

Onehunga High School black  trousers, worn with black socks.  If a belt is worn, the belt to be plain black leather.

Shorts

Onehunga High School grey shorts, no belt.

Skirt

Onehunga High School knee length skirt, worn with plain black full length pantyhose or plain white ankle socks.

Socks

Onehunga High School long grey socks with green band worn with Onehunga High School grey shirt, or plain white ankle socks worn with Onehunga High School white shirt.

 

UNIFORM – YEARS 12 and 13

Onehunga High School white long sleeved shirt (button to neck), to be worn with school tie and Onehunga High School black trousers.

Shirt 2

Onehunga High School white three-quarter sleeved shirt, to be worn with school tie and Onehunga High School ankle length skirt or Onehunga High School black trousers.

Skirt

Onehunga High School ankle length skirt, worn with either Onehunga High School short sleeved shirt or three-quarter sleeved shirt with school tie, and plain black full length pantyhose or plain white ankle socks.

 

Building and Construction Uniform

Sports Uniform

Shirt

Onehunga High School Building and Construction black polo shirt.  

(These are ordered through the school once the student is confirmed in the course)

Shorts

 Black Work Shorts

Footwear

Practical Lessons - Steel Cap Boots worn with work socks

Classroom Lessons - Plain low cut black leather shoes (that do not cover the ankle) worn with Onehunga High School regulation socks or black sandals.  No coloured logos on shoes or sandals.

 

Sports Uniforms

Sports uniforms can be ordered through the School. Students will receive written information early in the sport season on costs and uniform requirements.

Formal Wear

Year 12 and 13 only Onehunga High School black trousers, worn with either Onehunga High School long or three-quarter sleeved Onehunga High School white shirt and red school tie or Onehunga High School long skirt, worn with three-quarter sleeved shirt and red school tie.

Then the shop is open each day during the school term as follows: 

Term One: Monday lunchtime 1:30 - 2:05pm, Tuesday 8:10 - 8:50am, Thursday lunchtime 1:30 - 2:05pm

Term Two: Monday and Thursday lunchtime 1:30 - 2:05pm

Term Three: Monday and Thursday lunchtime 1:30 - 2:05pm

Term Four: Thursday lunchtime 1:30 - 2:05pm
